报告人简介:夏卫国,大连理工大学教授,国家优秀青年基金获得者,辽宁省“兴辽英才计划”青年拔尖人才。分别于2006年和2009年在东南大学数学系获得应用数学学士和硕士学位,2013年于荷兰格罗宁根大学数学与自然科学学院获得博士学位。主要从事复杂网络、社会网络和多智能体系统等方面的研究工作。目前担任国际期刊Systems & Control Letters等期刊编委。

报告内容:In this talk, we introduce some recent results on synchronization of multi-agent systems under matrix-weighted coupling. We first study the synchronization problem of identical oscillators interacting via matrix-weighted couplings under both undirected and directed graph topologies. The sampled-data technique is utilized to tackle the case when the derivative information of the relative state is unavailable. Necessary and sufficient conditions depending on the coupling gains, the sampling period, and the spectra of the matrix-weighted Laplacian, are established for achieving synchronization of the oscillators. Then we study the synchronization problem of continuous-time linear systems under time-varying matrix-weighted coupling. With the help of the notion of persistent excitation and an adapted stability result in adaptive control, we establish two sufficient exponential synchronization conditions using the connectivity of the persistent graph and the joint connectivity of the instantaneous time-varying graphs. The results are further applied to solve the synchronization problem of continuous-time linear systems with time-varying and nonidentical coupling matrices, extending the existing conclusions in the literature.
